Dear Didier, TraceWin got stuck in superposed field maps. I have attached the project file. tst4field.rar I tried to run separate fields and it works, so I'm wondering if it's the problem of the input beam distribution. Could you please help me to check it? OS: Win11 Version: 2.33.4.2 Kinds, shliu

Dear Didier, There are some commands for beam size and divergence matching at different locations, including "DIAG_DSIZE2_FWHM", "DIAG_DSIZE2", "DIAG_DSIZE3", "DIAG_DPSIZE2". If there's a case that only X-plane matching is needed, then how to set the diag command? I suggest setting 2 matching accura...

Then how to get σ_dp/p, or σ_z', or σ_E?

I mean there's only e_z and σ_z in partran1.out, and beam twiss parameter γ could not be identified.

At the output, σ_z= 6.0138 mm, σ_dp/p=0.0542 %. Then <z.dp/p>(mm.%)=6.0138 * 0.0542=0.3259.

But it is 0.2582859 In column 41.

If my understanding is correct, they are different in .dst and partran1.out.

The same project file as that in the last post:

But σ_φ is different in my case:

σ_φ=7.0231 deg in .dst, while it is 7.022882 deg in partran1.out file.

Sorry for the typo. I mean it isn't σ_z*σ_dp/p.

What does it mean by "<z.dp/p>(mm.%)"? It seems not σ_φ*σ_dp/p.
