I see, so I'll update my version.
thanks a lot

Re: exporting data from a phase space plot
good morning again, I have noticed that in the den file the section appears more than one with sliglty different numbers For example I have two times Vertical 2D projection [Y]. Is this because I am saving the den file in a plot where I have 4 phase spaces (X-X', Y-Y', X'-Y' and X-Y)? I guess so, an...

Re: exporting data from a phase space plot
Right, I just noticed the .den saving option when doing it fomr the phace space plot in TW.
basically PlotWin is not necessary
Thanks

Re: exporting data from a phase space plot
ok, I think I have figured it out.
I need to open the phase space in PlotWin and save the density file .den
This file has many sections, if I plot the Vertical/Horizontal 2D projection [Y/X], for example, I think I have what I need.
Am I correct?

exporting data from a phase space plot
Goodmorning,
it might be a stupid question, but I cannot figure out a way to export the data of the density curve in the phase space plot.
Is there a way?
I mean the two lines point with an arrow in the attached image
THank yuo in advance

Re: Adjusting drift lenghts
Thanks Didier,
I see, it's not straight forward to do that.
maybe splitting the 3rd drift in two might help, I will figure it out and make some test
Cheers

Adjusting drift lenghts
Good day, I know my next question can be stupid, but I am kind of struggling with that. Let's assume I have 2 meter space between the source (beginning of TW simulation) and a magnet, let's say a dipole. In this two meter space I want to put two magnets (quads, solenoids...) so that I have a sequenc...

Re: CW beam and bunch Freq. (MHz)
Goodmorning, I'm back here again! :=) I did the test again, now using the new dst that should be CW. I have made 3 plots as a resume, where the beam parameters are shown how the change with the Bunch Frequency (I used, as before, 1, 33, 45 and 1000MHz, in the dst case I added 39MHz). In the plots x ...

Re: CW beam and bunch Freq. (MHz)
ok, so the frequency value here is not relevant, as long as the beam has the correct distribution, am I correct?
