Re: Phase advance calculation bug
Dear Josh, The calculation of k0x is based on an arcos function, which must obviously be less than 1; however, for period #8, given that your solenoid has a very weak magnetic field, this value is greater than 1, preventing the phase advance from being calculated (see below for phase advance definit...

Re: Question about mutipole component at dipole
Dear SeokHo Moon,
I suggest you use the standard BEND dipole, then cut it in half and insert either a quadrupole (QUAD), using only its multipole components, or the MULTIPOLE element.
Regards,
Didier

Re: missing distribution flag command-line tool
I forgot to mention that this will only work if you have selected the correct option "Use distribution from input particle file" in "Input distribution type"

Re: missing distribution flag command-line tool
Dear Lennert,
Unless I'm mistaken, if you provide the name of a distribution file as input (via the batch command), it is that file's settings that will be used, not those defined in the ini file

Didier

Re: RFQ fieldmap simulation with TraceWin
Hi, the frequency defined in main page correspond to bunch frequency. And unless otherwise specified, this will also be the RF frequency of the structure; otherwise, simply add the "FREQ 200" command to the dat file. That said, in your case, this isn’t necessary, as the RF frequency will obviously b...
