Dear Didier, With the command DIAG_DBETA, the same beam size at a location could be set. Sometimes, the same twiss parameters are needed but not fixed to be a specific value. Is it possible to add a command DIAG_DALPHA in TraceWin? Or there's another way to set the same twiss parameters? Kinds, shliu

It doesn't run for error study in TraceWin now. Could you please have a check? Maybe my settings are wrong somewhere.

The version is 2.20.1.1, and the platform is Win11.

That is the way I did in the last post. Could you please check it?

If I choose it in xx' and yy', some particles outside of the ellipse in xx' but inside the ellipse in yy' would be chosen, which is not my purpose.

The initial distribution: Select particles in xx' plane: Then select particles in yyp' plane: The selected particles are in xx' ellipse OR yy' ellipse. How to select particles in xx' ellipse AND yy' ellipse at the same time?

Maybe the command "Select particles outside ellipse" is also necessary?

For example, how to select particles inside ellipse both in xx' and yy' planes?
