Hi Didier,

Is there a way for backtrack simulation with superposed field maps without modifying the .dat file?

Dear shliu,

The backtrack feature of TraceWIn does not require the dat file to be modified to work even with superposed field maps!

Didier

Hi Didier,

Could you help me to check the attached project file for backtrack simulation?

There's a bending magnet field map in the lattice.

Dear shliu,

OK, sorry, I see. back tracking feature is not available when bending trajectory elements are used.

Didier

Do you consider adding the function?

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid not. The particular structure of this type of field map means that it can't be made without redesigning everything, which isn't planned for the near future.
