Hi
After version 2.23.3.4 of TraceWin, we see a significant mismatch between MEBT and DTL, with a 50% beam loss at the entrance of DTL (partran).
Tested on Linux only. Would you be able to advise? With 2.23.3.3 and older, we see only very litlte losses, maybe 0.2% for same sections.

Re: Mismatch MEBT lattice
Dear Yngve,
I tried with the version 2.23.3.5 & last one 2.23.3.8 on Linux and Windows and I have no significant losses in any case. Well, I had to use my own RFQ output distribution, that's the only difference I have with your case.
Regards,
Didier

Re: Mismatch MEBT lattice
Hi
Thanks for coming back to me so quickly. Sorry yes, I forgot to attach the dst file. I see as well that with the generated distribution (6D ellipse) I have same behaviour as you. I also tried to check if updating the beam parameters based on the input file would change it, but I still did not see any losses. Using the attached dst file for the input beam and I get the behaviour I described originally.

Re: Mismatch MEBT lattice
Thank you for the quick fix. I can confirm simulations behave as expected again.
