exporting data from a phase space plot

Goodmorning,

it might be a stupid question, but I cannot figure out a way to export the data of the density curve in the phase space plot.
Is there a way?
I mean the two lines point with an arrow in the attached image

THank yuo in advance

ok, I think I have figured it out.
I need to open the phase space in PlotWin and save the density file .den
This file has many sections, if I plot the Vertical/Horizontal 2D projection [Y/X], for example, I think I have what I need.

Am I correct?

Dear Francesco,

Yes it"s perfectly correct, but you can also do that directly from TraceWin outputs.

Right, I just noticed the .den saving option when doing it fomr the phace space plot in TW.
basically PlotWin is not necessary

Thanks

good morning again,

I have noticed that in the den file the section appears more than one with sliglty different numbers
For example I have two times Vertical 2D projection [Y].

Is this because I am saving the den file in a plot where I have 4 phase spaces (X-X', Y-Y', X'-Y' and X-Y)?
I guess so, and in the density file I have all the projections of these 4 plots.
If I am guessing right, then it would be easier to only plot X-Y and save the .den file so I only have the space density profile.

does it makes sense what I am saying?

Yes, the *.den file could contain the same projections several times, depending on the phase spaces drawn.
This has been corrected in the latest version.

Didier

I see, so I'll update my version.

thanks a lot
