backtracking goes wild with superposed maps

Post by BelgiumAngelique Gatera »

When trying to backtrack a proton beam through a LEBT, a virtual collimation is generated at the end of a fieldmap.

It seems to be due to the fact that the later fielmap is superposed to another (problem disappears when overlapping removed).

Hi Angelique,

The problem come from an incompatibility with overlapping field map and aperture map during back-tracking. This bug has been fixed in the last version 2.16.16.7

Regards,

Didier
