Dear Didier,
The synch. button in the plots generated by PlotWin seems to be broken.
Best regards,

Dear Didier,
It could sometimes be fixed by restarting PlotWin. Sometimes I have to restart TraceWin to fix it.
I am fine with that.
Best regards,
Wai-Ming

Dear Wai-Ming,
What exactly do you mean by "broken" ?
What does this have to do with a TraceWin reboot ?
Regards,
Didier

Dear Didier,
"Broken" has a few symptoms:
(1) Synch does not update or refresh
(2) When Synch does not work, restarting PlotWin the plots could be weird. For example, some elements do not show up.
(3) Sometimes the plots from PlotWin would show "Trial Version". Restarting PlotWin can fix it.
Restarting TraceWin, and then restarting PlotWin, could fix the above.
Best regards,
Wai-Ming

Dear Wai-Ming,
I've made a few corrections in the hope that it will behave better.

Didier

Dear Didier,
Thank you for making the corrections.
Now it would try to synch during a partran optimization, which stalls PlotWin and returns error.
Best regards,
Wai-Ming

Dear Wai-Ming,
Sorry, I didn't understand your answer, it doesn't work at all?

Didier

Dear Didier,
I am sorry for the confusion.
The fix works. But it created another issue. The new issue is that PlotWin now synchronizes at each step during a Partran simulation. As a result, PlotWin could become frozen.
Best regards,
Wai-Ming

Dear Wai-Ming,
I think we're having trouble understanding each other on this subject

Basically, PlotWin's synchronization works in the same way as TraceWin's, i.e. every time the monitored file changes, i.e. every time an optimization step is taken. That's the basic principle. So normally this shouldn't block PlotWin, but it seems to be the case for you ?

Didier
