Adding errors for quadrupoles

Hello,

I am trying to add an error into a quadrupole. I have this in my data file:

drift 70 1000
error_quad_ncpl_stat 1 1 2
quad 150 -35 15 0 2.1 0 0 0 10.5
drift 50 1000
end

which I believe should add add a 2mm error in x. When I view the rms centroid it seems that the error is very small and not working correctly:

I have the errors set to 100 runs for a multiparticle study and output beam reference. I have attached my ini and dat files also. Could you please let me know where I am going wrong here?

Thank you,
Lauren

Hi Didier,

Thank you for the quick response. I have added what you mentioned to my error setup but I am still getting the same output. Maybe I am doing something else wrong?

Thanks,
Lauren

Hi Lauren,

On my side, that works !
Send me another timer your project files, I'll check.

Dear Lauren,

I see now, by simplifying your project to speed up the calculations I had inhibited the problem. It is now fixed and available for download.

Didier
