Dear Didier,
I am also trying to simulate a ring and therefore using the configuration that you have suggested here.
The problem is that as the beam changes its trajectory because of the dipole field, the reference coordinates are not changing. Therefore, as the beam reaches the aperture size, it suffers from particle loss. I went through the manual where it talks about the reference trajectory but it is not very clear to me how to implement it in my case.
May you please help me with this scenario?
My lattice is (the fields and gradients are yet to be optimized)
