Bending tuning using field map

Hello Didier,
I have some doubts about the proper way to tune a bending magnet when we use a field map to obtain the nominal line deviation. Once the magnet is electromagnetically designed, the field map could lead to a slightly different beam deviation and some matching of the kb parameter could be needed.
The only way I found was to obtain the approximated angle by using the X deviation with the envelope plot, but obviously it is an approximated calculation.
Is there any other way to ensure that the field map of the dipole is ok and we don't have to change the kb (that is, the dipole current) to follow the designed deviated path?
