Beam matrix (or its elements) along the channel

Post by GermanyRubin »

Dear Didier,

I can see a beam matrix in a chart window for each separate position.
Is it also possible to get a file with beam matrix behind each element in a channel (similar to transfer matrix file)?

Or even better: get a data for certain beam matrix element M(i,j) along a channel? ;)

Thank you!

Best regards!

Dear Rubin,

In the files "partran1.out" (tracking) or "tracewin.out" (envelope) at each step you have all the first and second order moments, as well as the emittances & SigmaXY and SigmaX'Y'. Isn't that enough for you?

Didier

Dear Didier,
thank you for the answer!
The problem is that I need <xy'> and <x'y>.
Best regards!

Dear Anna,

If I add <xy'> and <x'y> to the*.out file, is that enough for you?

Didier

Dear Anna,

2 new parameters have been added to the *.out files to suit your needs.
