Re: Generating .vane file with transition cell and m=1 section
Thinking more about the profile, if you want to produce a trancell not for the cell before the fringe field but the cell before, the code can not generate this because it will only apply trancell rules for the cell before the fringe field. But there is a work around, you can use an externally made ....

Re: Generating .vane file with transition cell and m=1 section
Hi I would like to be sure about the problem you are highlighting. When I run Toutatis with your FromTraceWin.inp, I get the following vane profile at end: vane_end.png Does it match your expectation? If not, please describe more precisely the gap between your expectation and what is plotted there. ...

Re: RFQ longitudinal Acceptance query
Dear Sarvesh, please find my replies in between your lines below with the prefix RD=. My question: What happens if one inject beam bunch of 2ns into RFQ where design guidelines says, the bunch width must be three times in synchronous phase (-48 deg @ 48.5 MHz RFQ)? which means 8.2 ns as ideal bunch ...

Are you running the console executable or the one with a GUI?
Also, please send me the file toutatis_key.log. It might help to find the issue

Re: I don’t get rfq.dat
Hi
I have to confess that this issue got out of my radars. Anyhow, when you use Toutatis 2.0, do you still fail to get a rfq.dat?
Best,
Romuald

Re: Question about RFQ error
Hi I will try to respond to your requests one by one: 1. For example, if the longitudinal length of the electrode is 1m and if I want to give 0.1 degree of tilt angle then should I set the tilt set up to 1*tan(0.1 degree)? RD: the axis for the tilt is at the middle of vane, thus tan(alpha) = d * 2/L...
