Re: Cavity error calculations with aperture map
ok it will be easier to reuse the one with the fieldmaps that you provided in the examples of TraceWin. If you run the project attached, the error_data file shows a transverse shift of 1 mm applied to the aperture map. Although if you put a shift in X of 200 mm, I see that particles are not lost so ...

Re: Cavity error calculations with aperture map
Hi Didier, I reopen the topic. Is it possible to mask FIELD_MAP 0 for cavity errors completely? I think this is why I observe bigger losses than with hardedge. I basically double the errors, see attached the error_data file when I run error calculations. I don't think there is any situation in which...

Cavity error calculations with aperture map
Hi Didier, it seems that cavity error calculations with aperture maps lead to a TraceWin critical error. Is it possible to mask FIELD_MAP 0 for cavity errors? I put an example here: field_map_path TraceWin\doc\examples ERROR_CAV_NCPL_STAT 1000 10 1 1 1 1 1 0 1 DRIFT 10 40 0 0 0 DRIFT 10 40 0 0 0 SUP...

"Don't use 'part_rfq.dst' as input distribution file" message [SOLVED]
Dear Didier,
I got this message, see attached.
What is the reason that I can't use "part_rfq.dst" as the input distribution?
It might be related to another problem that I have.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Re: Key Error
Yes, it still appears after the update! It's very random, it might be after a few hundreds of TraceWin uses I can add in my script a function (hereafter in case someone has the same problem, for Windows/Python) to press all the time on the ok button of this window in case it appears but it's not ide...
Key Error
Dear Didier,
there is a popup window that informs me that there is a "Key error" and that the version is too old, see attached.
I updated TraceWin and the key today.
Is it possible to disable this popup window? It blocks batch calculations until I press "OK".
Cheers,
Jonathan

Re: slow batch [SOLVED]
Thanks Didier,
yes, I tried but apparently the new version (I downloaded it today) tells me that my computer can't run it, see attached.
So I had to go on with the regular version of TraceWin
