High multipoles in Quadrupole hard edge model

Post by JapanBruce Yee »

Dear Didier,

I would like to know if TraceWin has a way to check the effect of multipoles. I plot the Gradient in the window charts, but the plots are the same with and without multipoles.

In addition, I have a doubt, when I defined a GFR no null, the multipole coefficient that give is the relative component (un), right?

Best regards,

Bruce

Dear Bruce,

Yes, the gradient curve only plots the (n=2) component. So if you want to see the effects, it will be on the beam.
And yes to your second question.

Didier
