Dear Didier,
I would be happy if TraceWin could be extended with a new element: "DIAG_EMIT_100", for optimizations with the 100% emittance ellipse of a distribution.
This could perhaps even be generalized as "DIAG_EMIT_N" with N as the percentage of the corresponding ellipse (like it's already existing for 99% with DIAG_EMIT_99). This would allow users to use this as they wish without having to code their own diagnostic element.

Looking at how to answer your request, I realised that this already exists. In fact, the manual is incomplete (I just amended it) and finally DIAG_EMIT_99 is already defined as DIAG_EMIT_NN.
So, 99% fraction has to be set in “Multiparticle” tab-sheet, then go to “99.XX% emittance and halo”,then select the fraction you want. This choice is used for the "XX.XX% Emits" output chart, but also for DIAG_EMIT_99.
