Dear Didier,
Another problem happens when I use multiparticle mode with partran. A filed map is used to import the RFQ field. In this way, I can verify my design of a real RFQ. There is no problem in envelop mode.

Re: segmentation violation error
Dear Zhaoliangchao,
First at all a remark about your project. You calculation step is clearly to small, reduce in "Multiparcle" -> "Step of calulation your step from 50 to 5. Or better, use 25 step by meter.
Ok, I have also an error at the end, but not the same. Mine is "Beam Energy lower then 0". I think before to try to use field map to simulate RFQ, the first step is to do simulaiton using usual RFQ_CELL elements. And when I'm using your design, you sent me in preceding post, clearly your RFQ design doesn't work at all. So please show me your RFQ cell simualion working before discussing the FIELD_MAP simulation
Regards,
Didier

Re: segmentation violation error
Finally, I was be able to simulate your field map RFQ design. To do that à set currant to 0 and step to 2 by beta*lambda.
That works, but clearly output beam distribution show a big issue a bout your design

Didier

Re: segmentation violation error
Dear Zhaoliangchao,
I forgot a last point. I found out why your initial project crashed wiht a segmentation violation fault. It's a bug which has been fixed in the last TraceWin version.
