Dear Didier et. al,
I am looking at a transfer line with both H and V bends. the line starts with V bends and then some H bends in the middle and finally another V bend at the end making a dogleg.
I want to make the first pat achromat in the H(orizontal) plane and then close the V(ertical) dispersion after the second V bend.
How do I do that in TraceWin?
Thank you
Mamad
Matching the line for D and D' in both H and V
Re: Matching the line for D and D' in both H and V
Dear Mamad,
I think, I could mix some DIAG_ACHROMAT and DIAG_POSITION putting some dispersion on the input beam.
I could also make some improvment on DIAG_ACHROMAT feature to do that, but there I need a realistic example
So, A simple example could help me to work on this topic.
Regards,
Didier

Dear Mamad,
So, TraceWin has been upgraded including an additional parameter to the SET_ACHROMAT command and to the DIAG_ACHROMAT element to allow more flexibility, according to your request.

Didier
