Hi,

Your example finally works perfectly, it does nothing!
Indeed as you ask to have identical TWiss parameters at the same position, it is easy, it is obviously always true.
I don't really understand what you want to do

I want to set α_x=α_y, β_x=β_y at a location.
There's a diag_dbeta, but there's no diag_dalpha command.

Ok, we didn't understand each other, sorry.
A new diagnostic, DIAG_DTWISS2, does what you ask.

Thank you very much!

Another command may be like DIAG_SET_MATRIX2 to check the "Beam matrix" element since sometimes I need to check beam parameters at a position. For example, how to match the m_13 element when a solenoid is introduced before.

Dear Didier,

Maybe the command DIAG_SET_MATRIX is already enough for my problem. Thank you!
