Longitudinal shift in error study

Post by Spainpedro »

I have tried to run a positioning error study for a triplet of quadrupoles. According to the manual, a longitudinal shift can be introduced. However, the results do not seem to be taking this into account. Also, the Error_Datas opoutput files does not include that longitudinal shift:

QUAD_ERROR δx(mm),δy(mm),δrx(°),δry(°),δrz(°),δG(%),L(mm),δG3(%),δG4(%),δG5(%),δG6(%)

Dear Pedro,

Yes, it's a bit confusing, but in the end, no longitudinal shitf errors are applied and used. I'm going to make this clear in the documentation.

Regards,

Didier
