Hi Didier,
Could the Diag_XXX command be located inside field maps? Maybe the format like:
superpose 0 0 0 0 0 0
field_map 0070 1000 0 50 1.0 0 0 0 Quad1 0
superpose 800 0 0 0 0 0
field_map 0070 1000 0 50 -1.0 0 0 0 Quad2 0
How to set beam size at location 900 mm?
Kinds,
Shliu

Re: Diag_XXX command inside field map
Hi Shliu,
Have a look on the SHIFT_IN_FIELD_MAP command in manual, especially dedicated to that.

Didier

Re: Diag_XXX command inside field map
Thank you for the reply!
What if the field map is in a bending section? For example, two dipoles bending to the same direction and one quadrupole between them for achromat consideration, and I want to set beam waist at the middle of the quadrupole. The 3 field maps are superposed.
I tried the SHIFT_IN_FIELD_MAP command but seems it doesn't work in my case. So, do you have any suggestions?
BTW, is there a way for plotting beam distribution in a superposed field map?

Shliu

Re: Diag_XXX command inside field map
Dear Shliu,
Yes right, SHIFT_IN_FIELD_MAP didn't work in field map bending trajectory.
This feature has been added in the last TraceWin release
