About error parameters in tracewin code

Post by Chinashliu »

Dear Didier,
For the command of 'ERROR_CAV_NCPL_STAT N r(0 /±1/2/±3/4/5), dx(mm), dy(mm), φx(°), φy(°), E(%), φ(°), dz(mm), Nb', the longitudinal shift dz exits, but in the 'errors setup ', the 'Z displacement' can not be selected. In the simulation results, the influence of dz is not included ?

Best,

Dear Shuhui,

Yes, this option is not active and in fact would not be of much interest anyway because it has very little impact.

Didier

Hi Didier,

What if the element is a dipole? Especially in field map format.

Dear Shuhui,

I never really thought about the dipole case, but roughly speaking I don't really see a big impact of having a dipole placed for example 100 μm ahead or behind.

Regards,

Didier
