Dear Didier,
When I plot the beam envelope in 'Envelope' mode, it looks like the envelope does not contain the dispersion effect. But in 'Partran' mode, the dispersion effect is shown in the envelope.
So, does the envelope contain the dispersion effect (in "Envelope" mode) ?Or, how to enable it?
Dose the envelope contain the dispersion effect?

Re: Dose the envelope contain the dispersion effect?
Dear Zhao,
The dispersion effect shown in the partran is due to input energy spread you have defined to 0.6 MeV. In envelope mode, your beam iis defined as CW, no spread can be considered. If you want to have something similar you have to defined beam like following picture. Its not exactly the same input energy spread, but by this way envelope and teacking will be the same.
Regards,
Didier
