Dear didier,
I want to simulate the input beam mismatching. In the error page, the mismatch factor is defined by a percentage(αx and βx are multiplied by x^n), but in fact, the twiss parameter mismatch maybe not uncertain, and each variable may increase or decrease. Can the command of ‘ERROR_BEAM_STAT’ implement this function? How to use this command? Thank you!
Best,
Shuhui

Re: About input beam error
Dear Shuhui,
Parameter mx, my & mz of ERROR_BEAM_STAT command, correspond to beam mismatch factor. And according to first parameter you cna select which kind of error you want.
I also remind you can have to select in "Error" page -> "Error setup" -> "statistical error" -> "Error study1" -> "Static" -> "input beam". Otherwise ERROR_BEAM_STAT will not be applied to beam.
You can check all that by a single run, simply setting in "Main" page -> "Include error in defined..." : "1"

Didier
