Dear URIOT
This is beam envelope plot which I have generated from RFQdesign to TOUTATIS and then Toutatis to TRACEWIN automatically. Still it has break in Y profile near end of RFQ. Please suggest how to join this profile.
Thanks
Sarvesh

Re: Break in Y vane profile
Dear Sarvesh,
Ok, I'll improve vertical plot of RFQ vane in next version, but clearly, this chart doesn't show the real geometry of vanes, it's only a rough illustration, especially for the end cells, that doesn't represent the reality of what you will find in the *.vane file (see RFQ tool from Chart page).
Regards,
Didier

Re: Break in Y vane profile
Thanks URIOT, Please suggest where to see total RF power of RFQ, Cavity power plot is not the same as total power? Total power= Peak power + Beam Power. It should be of the order of 300-400 kW for 3 MeV, 3m design Proton RFQ. But I am not able to find it anywhere in TRACEWIN and Toutatis.
Re: Break in Y vane profile
Dear Sarvesh,
TraceWin is not an electrostatic code and is obviously not able to estimate the RF power in a copper structure.
Maybe you could ask this question in the RFQ_Designer forum. The RFQ experts here might be able to suggest solutions.
