Dear Didier,
ERROR_QUAD_xxxx_xxxx includes "Field map if defined as static magnetic field" in the manual.
I defined quadrupoles and dipoles in 3D field map(geom for FIELD_MAP is 0070, i.e. static magnetic field), then how to define different error values for QUADs and BENDs? E.g. φz for QUADs is 1 mrad, φz for BENDs is 0.1 mrad.
Regards,
shliu
Different error value for QUAD/BEND in static magnetic field map
Re: Different error value for QUAD/BEND in static magnetic field map
Dear Shliu,
Yes, in this case, the ERRROR_QUAD command will indeed be common to both the quadrupole and dipole.
However, you can specify as many ERRROR_QUAD commands as you want in your file (*.dat), with each command redefining the errors for the following elements.

Didier
