In the last TW manual release dated July 23 2026 there is a dubious expression P. 170 for the formula of the residual orbits:
each variable and mean are squared. Strictly speaking should be more like (x - <x>)² with the square outside the parentheses.

Once again, you’re right, but don’t worry none of these typos are in the simulation code itself.
The issue has been fixed in the latest version.
