No GUI with Fedora 40

Dear Didier,

Since I upgraded Fedora to version 40, the GUI doesn't appear. There's no error message.

I ran it with valgrind and the options "-s --leak-check=full --show-leak-kinds=all". The log file is attached.

As usual, what doesn't work for you works for me, making it difficult to correct what does work.

sudo yum list installed > listinstalled.txt
