Dispersion Curves with Gradient Errors  [SOLVED]

Post by United States of AmericaAbhishek »

Dear Didier,

II am currently studying the impact of dipole and quadrupole gradient errors on our transfer line lattice, and I would like to extract the corresponding dispersion curve for each error scenario.

Could you kindly advise on the recommended workflow to obtain the dispersive optics when random or systematic gradient errors are applied?

Thank you very much for your time. I greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Best regards,

Abhishek Pathak

Dear Abhishek,

in the file ""partran1.out" for tracking or "tracewin1.out" for envelope results you can have the dispersion terms at each position of your simualtion
File format is describe in the manuel see : https://dacm-codes.fr/Softwares/TraceWi ... d_Toutatis

If you are calculating errors via the TraceWin interface, you should select the "Keep all result files" & "Full partran.out file" options in the "Errors" tab.

Regards,

Didier
