Error studies in multipoles

Post by JapanBruce Yee »

Dear Didier,

Currently, I am using the element "Multipole" to simulate as a kicker. I want to make an error study (similar to a Quad error) of the multipole (KICKER).
Do you have a suggestion on how to implement static error in the multipole?

Thanks for your help and time,

Bruce

Dear Bruce,

If your multipole is defined as a magnetic element, you can normally use the usual command ‘ERROR_QUAD_XXX_XXX’ to apply error amplitudes.

Didier
